Dear 1553jwilliams,

What's the big sprocket - 28 or 32? Much wear?
I don't think the M900 came in an 11-up (XTR was designed for bigger
chainrings in those days) so there probably wasn't an 11t there in the
first place. Is one of the other sprockets missing?

Dear X,

the biggest sprocket is 32t and it is the 11t missing i remeber because i
had 3 of these originally thanks john

Dear 1553jwilliams,

Thanks. So could you list the sprockets that are there? I'm confused
because I've never seen an 8-speed 11-32 cassette. It is 8-speed, right?

How much use has it had, roughly?

Dear X,

sorry if i said it is a 8 speed it is a 9 speed and the sprockets are as
follows the main body which has 5 sets of cogs going through 32t to
18t and seperate ones are as follows 16t, 14t and 12t but the 11t is
missing thanks john

Dear 1553jwilliams,

I don't think you specified 8 or 9 speed previously, but a CS-M900 is
an 8-speed cassette. 9-speed is M952. The M900 was only offered in
12-up combinations, 12-28 and 12-32. If you-ve got 12, 14, 16, 18, 21,
24, 28, 32, the cassette is complete.

You didn't say how much use it has had.
