I've just found a precision spring maker ,that will make me 2 springs for my amp F4 fork, taking a copy of the only one that was on it,
After Phoning a few places and getting told it would be expensive as they were only making 2[£60 each expensive  ]
,i found 1 not too far away form me,
the cost for both? - twenty quid :D :D
That said ,i'm not holding out much hope that they will be exactly the same, or that they will last ,chances are that they'll compress ,then stay compressed when the fork comes back up   or even fit the shocks, but we'll know by the Weekend
Watch this space :)

Thats what i was hoping for ,but it seems that as they're at least 12 yold + they aren't supplied by amp any more and theyre American in inches as in the wire diameter is in " ,and and and and

And for f### sake be serious ,since when on a renovation project could you just find 'em on a shelf ,come on, that would be too easy

No, there always some bit thats obscure or doesn't exist in this dimension any more
But for a mere £20 i'm willing to find out

Have you got the following dimensions?

Wire diameter?
Ø of spring?
Free length?

I'll see what my suppliers can do from their range.

Springs ready, only took 3 days i'll pick them up to 2 hour

I'm still a bit worried that they either --
Wont fit the shock,
Are too big and overlap the collars ,
Aren't rated to 400lbs,
but well see,my karma's good this month.
