nice!! 5000(5754) seiries check plat welded onto a 6000- or 7000 series alloy. might work if you use specail rod like a tigtectic 23.

one minor fail though. thats probably butted to about 60mm form the headtube so all that effort will simply break the tube where it is weaker. Great work. tidy job too.

I might let him weld the crack on my 88 klein!!
