I should get the 400lb springs that i need for my amp fork for a few quid
If i got the springs from Amp in the states it would cost a fortune

Aint i great

The springs for your AMP fork with se steel coil ones, the elastomer ones were used as a bump stop, to give the last bit of travel a bit of resistance.

I take it, it's these you're replaceing, and not planning on using these as the main spring?

Sorry ,yes ,i know an amp uses springs

:o
Im posting
LOOK- REPLACEMENT ELASTOMERS FOR SOMEONE[not me as i use 'steel' springs]

I'm looking in to getting some Ti springs done for mine, i know a guy who winds springs for cars, any rate/length, and he's looking in to it for me.

I'll let you know how i get on.

Aren't custom wound, a bit of an expensive route to take?
Springs are used by the million worldwide ,can't see a major manafactuer having springs wound ,they'd prob' buy in the correct part from a spring maker
I need a 350-400lbs spring that has known sizes a=outside diameter b=inside diameter c=length d= compression
Give the measurements to the company and they'll have dozens like it
Cost for two? prob' less than £10
Or sent off to God knows where the, States ,Canada,Europe etc,etc
Pay for the parts[including the fork makers mark-up],pay for shipping ,pay import taxes, pay, pay, pay then hope it gets to you eventually
