who do you use for FRAME ALTERATIONS ie disc tab fitting

As an example, their idea of protecting your frame is to put it in a frame box,, with a bit of firewood between the dropouts; no bubblewrap, no polystyrene, nada.

Kevin Winters did Dr S's yo conversion and quoted me £160 to do a disc tab, Brace, guides, removal of canti studs and paint and his work is top notch. Decided to just get a modern frame in the end

Continuing the Bob Jackson bashing I contacted them about painting a frame and they wouldn't give me an accurate timescale for the work just "up to 2 months"

My father lived in Leeds when he was younger, and amongst the kids Bob Jacksons was referred to as Jacksons rotten jobs.

That said, I've been mostly happy the times I have used them.

why only "mostly happy" any issues or small niggles as so far there are a lot of niggles cropping up here and there :?

Edison's. The quality matches anything you can buy at any price, but no advertising so he's a lot cheaper than most. Nice guy too. My mate's having a frame made by him at the minute and it's very impressive.
