American by design only, as per the listing they were actually contract built by Sugino in Japan.

i think they are the american made ones, I have had a number of the sugino made ones, all stamped with Sugino Japan on the back and they looked a tad different, less angular and crisp if you like

what can you tell me about my 1999 GT Ricochet anatomica 7005 tubing, is it any good and why do they not seem to be too popular?
its only to be my winter hack but its nice to know a little about the bike, i know they were favoured by ladies but hopefully also ridden my big hariy men

Hi ya Gm, i have another little spanner, all the Sugino ones i have had have been compact, though i understand they came from Marins which had them OEM for a while, I used to think that the ones with White industries impressed in the metal were the real mcoy, as mine have had a transfer, but have been proved wrong on this also as sugino did stamp some of theirs
