Which thread?

I read a thread some where telling me how to remove anodizing But can't find it. Please help

Ammonium sulphate solution (household ammonia dissolved in water).
Use a plastic (or steel) bowl.
PROTECT YOUR HANDS AND EYES.
Wash with copious amounts of water.

Don't leave components immersed for too long - they'll literally dissolve before your very eyes! (Depending on concentration of solution)
Might be best to use a cloth and 'wipe away' the anodising.
