The blue looks like a '92 but the decals are wrong -- and what's with the Kona logo on the seat tube?

Thanks, there's no canti brake hanger and it looks a different shade of blue to me but I guess it could just be the age and condition of the frame.

Nah. It’s a repaint.

Dropouts and down tube cable routing point to earlier model… I would say 1993 - possibly a lava dome / cindercone

Agree with @Dave_Mars, definitely an early model based on dropouts etc

1992 had brazed on rack mounts .. 1994 has different dropouts .. so I’d say 1993 almost certainly. Difficult to tell the early models apart though without paint
