Hi guys.
I've had this "new" Yeti pro fro from 1995 hanging on my wall. It's never ridden or been fully built up. I've been thinking more and more to get it fully rigged with components from that period.
So.... the big question: which fork/stem/headset....?
According to the brochure from 1995 they started to use a-headset system.
Is it a shame to shim it down to 1 1/8? As i thinking it's bloody hard to get hold of a Ringlé a-head stem in 1 1/4...
Since the colour is blue i'm thinking of silver and some blue-anodized parts.
I have collected some parts for it already.
XTR M900 canti's, brake/gear levers, rear and front gear.
Blue Ringlé front hub.
Silver Ringlé seatpost.
Yeti IRC and Onza tires. (Black).
Hyperliste bar in blue.
Flite.
So... what else?
Silver Topline cranks?
Silver Ringlé stem?
Here is the 95 brochure:
