need some for cleaning jobs and can't seem to find it easily or at sensible prices. Anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Re:

Thanks, didn't look there for some reason. What % do you recommend. Seems to be around £13-15 for 1 litre, is that reasonable?

Re:

Would disk brake cleaner do a similar job. Got plenty of that. Just thought it would be good to have some as all guides from fork servicing to brake bleeding recommend using it to clean during or after tasks.

Ebay. ltr sized. Also get one of the little spray atomizer bottles. Make sit go further and you can direct the spray.

I use a chemical company called hexealchemicals in Norwich. Its doubled in the last 6 months in price......hummmmm, cant think why, but they still charge "only" £9.75l on Ebay Inc post.

I get through a lot for cocktails....sorry, wiping paintwork.

No. Quite a lot of the automotive ones leave a thin layer of light oil behind. Makes no difference to a car as the parts are massively oversized and run pretty hot (so the oil evaporates/burns off). Can make a difference to bike brakes etc (the oil might also attack the seals in your brakes).
I've got some "oil free" brake cleaner instead. Or i sometimes use electrical cleaner, which has even less crap in it.

Hope recommend isopropyl or meths for rotors. Bio-ethanol is just a purer form of meths & relatively cheap & is easily available - B&Q etc.
