i had more than that when i was a kid
and often built towers bigger than that

I was more into Meccano will have something to do with i had no choice as my nan worked at the factory in Liverpool when it was located here wish i still had some the old kits would be worth a few bob

My old boss John used to work at Meccano, before they closed shop he helped himself to a load of NOS meccano master sets. He said he would never sell them, had them valued at some Hugh Scully thing and they were worth a fortune, the jammy sod

yeah i prefer mecanno
had both
but had lots more lego (a chest full)
and not so much mecanno

hindsight's a wonderful thing as they say at a young age your not bothered about things like future value shame as i would be quids in with the toys i had as a kid lol starwars figures and and vehicles he man stuff and vehicles god i could go on forever lol
