Wheels, wheels, wheels

Right then...

Tomac FS - needs disc wheels, has Deore hubs with 117 rims.
Kona Explosif - needs wheels for Vs, has XT Parallax with ancient rims.
Ozone CO2 - needs off-road capable nice wheels for Vs, is just a frame!
Spare hubs - one XT non-disc front, one Xt centre-lock disc front, one 6-bolt XT rear, one Hope mono front (where did they all come from?)

Question is do I:

1. Build up my Hope XCs with 717 (Rim variant) and then swop between the Tomac and Ozone, leaving Kona with original XT Parallax hubs and whatever rims? Discounted - XCs will be Tomac only (Prob 717 disc)

2. Buy the Ozone its own retro non-disc hubs (I already have one Hope mono) and build with 717s, save the XCs for when the Tomac needs new wheels and leave Kona as is? Possible, but need a suitable rear hub to go with front Mono.

3. Rebuild the XT hubs with 717s and use for Ozone, use some make-do wheels on the Kona and leave the Tomac as 2 above? Possible, but unsure of condition of the XT Parallaxs.

4. Sell the XC Hubs, keep the Ozone and Kona retro and use the spare XT Hubs for when the Tomac needs new wheels? Discounted as a silly idea - they are shiney and I am keeping them!

5. Something completely different? Possible...

Yeah, but then I know they will go on the Tomac and stay there and I will end up buying another set of hubs for the Ozone so I don't have to keep removing discs etc...

CB, where to start? Wheels for the Ozone...

- Something good quality, I hate tat.
- Something smart looking, but fairly neutral as I do not know what colour the bike will be (although happy to be influenced if the wheels are really cool!)
- Frame is early 90s, happy to go from that point forward.
- Bike will go off road, but rarely in bad weather or crappy conditions.
- I do not do DH, so a decent XC wheelset will be fine.

Get all of that into a package for under a fiver and you will be my best RB buddy!
