wheels, non disc and lightweight

Got 100 pounds ish to spend on a pair of rim brake only wheels. Need to be more xc than burly,going to be on a singlespeed project so freehub can be 7,8 or 9. As nice as possible for the cash really!

You after modern or retro?

If modern I have a nice trick looking pair of Rodi Blackjack wheels. I understand Rodi, who are German make wheels for other companies including the likes of Bontrager. They are a deepish V section rim brake and are built on Shimano hubs, with a silent rear hub. They have a 6 * 4 flat bladed spoke pattern. They are black with black and white decals.

Was going to use them on a build but went retro instead so they are collecting dust and getting under my feet and need a new home.

Can dig them out and e-mail pics if you like and can confirm hub details as well
