What's Derby like?

Got some friends up there.. I don't like the concrete stuff in Derby itself but there's a stack of cracking countryside around it.

I love it I moved here about 10 years ago - relatively low cost housing, lots of parks, nice city centre (not that much concrete - we managed to escape the horrors of the 60s somehow for the most part). 5 mins cycling and you're out in the countryside. Up the road is the Peak District. Etc etc etc. I'll be happy for a good while here yet. If you're visiting pop and and have a cuppa and a ride

There are some nice marinas in the area if that floats your boat (so to speak :roll: )
