What to clean with?

What would be the best stuff to clean up tarnished alloy bits on a fork, in particular the crown,arch and steerer on my Z2 Atom 80's.

Seems quite good and the shine lasts a good time.

I'm going to clean up a crown on those Judys tonight. I'm going for a brillo pad, then autosol, finishing with brasso wadding. I've also got some felt bobbins and compounds that I'm going to try though I'm not sure at what stage, probably finishing.

Autoglym metal polish is great stuff!

I use it on my cars bright work for shows, i swear by it.

Thanks for the suggestions, would seem I am somewhat lax when it comes to car care otherwise might have known of these products.

If your were as sad as i am, and spend half your life trying to make 40 plus year old cars shine like new pennies, Then you would know all about these products and all about sore fingers!

That's not sad, we all have our hobbies and those old vehicles do look good.

Just never been interested at all in cars other than as a means of transport.
Just buy one and then when it wears out, get another, on my second one now since 1987
