What std pedals were Orange offering in 1993 / 1994

As some my know now, I have a 1994 Clockwork with SPDs.
I want to replace these with standard pedals and was wondering what would be correct

They would've been flats with toe clips and matching the group set. My clockwork had shimano LX flats with orange straps & toe clips

The gearset is XT.

Mine came with XT flats with toe clips. I gave them away when I bought SPDs :twisted:

My '94 P7 that came with LX group had LX flats and mt christophe toe clips.

Don't forget orange would have sold frames only too (eg via Stif in Leeds) and owners could hang any components on. Lx or xt are good choices though. Complete bikes would have been fitted with any of shimano or suntours top 3 groupsets at the time. My very first clockwork frame I built with a real mix...but for pedals my faves were suntour xc comp.

+ 1 for the SunTour XC Comp's; great pedals with grease guard and can still be found NOS. Mine have been on three bikes since the early 90's and are still smooth and tight.

Pretty sure xc comp didn't gave greaseguard, at least not in '90. Xc pro did though. Other than that the pedals were identical.

I didn't know you could get STD pedals. Are latex socks recommended?
