What Klein paintjob was this?

I know, I know, it's a Trek Klein, but I always loved this paintjob. From about 1999/ 2000 (ish) I think.

Where the old linear fades always had 3 colors, these newer ones had only 2. Cost of painting was less but also looks more ugly. Examples of these are Koi, Blue Koi, Burning Sand, Blue Linear, etc.

 Sorry Carsten
I thought i'd test my knowledge and get you to confirm it, failed miserably

I've probably got the big flash brochure for it somewhere too......

Personally, I always liked the look of the post Trek Kleins better than the early ones.

I never could get on with the aesthetics of that huge head and overly fat tubes.

(I know, I know.....I'm a Philistine!) :D

I think this is a different paint from the original one. This is a 93 that was resprayed in the colors of the 1998 Aoleus (their tri-bike). It's hardly been used since the repaint and only has a few nicks on the stem. Other than that, it's in excellent shape.

Pictures aren't that great but it's quite a pretty paint job, the colors are metallic and look nice in the sun.

Koi

Have to say i really like that Koi Klein as well. Would def prefer a Gator Fade tho, if anyone has one they want to part with?

Thanks for the answer folks.

I know you shouldn't like it because it's not a Gator Fade etc, but I think it's nice. I like those two colours together.
