What is this bike?

Can anybody help me to identify my bike? It is in a very used condition but I am thinking of trying to restore it. I wanted an idea of what it originally may have looked like so would love to know what model it is.

I'm sure it is a Dawes 500 Cr-Mo, Reynolds build. It has some quite ornate detail on the frame. Does anybody know what model this is?

Looks early 80s. Could be a Fox -- does it not say anything on the top tube?

I used to have a Fox frame, and I'm pretty sure it was Reynolds 500 (and it was that colour).
