Man time, part of it at least anyway. Removed a M760 XT group from my Coyote HT1 and give it all a damn good clean, ready for its transplant on my HT5.

I'll have to wait until next year to do that mind you.

Had a lie-in of epic student proportions. Took the new Kona out for a shakedown ride. Loved it. Came home spent time with the kids. Missus made nice cakes. Had too many. About to have some smashing home made Burgers with a gorgeous sour cream salad.

I was jumped on by excited kids at 6:30am. Ate chocolate in bed until 7:00. Got up and cooked breakfast- full English, two cups of tea and a whole carton of juice. Last coat of paint on walls of youngest daughters bedroom at 8:30, skirting boards finished for 9:30. Lawn cut for 10:30 then off up to work at 11:00 to check the trimmers wern't making a mess of my car- they were, heated conversation followed by removal of everything they had done so far. New headlining fitted for 13:30. Back home. Cleaned downstairs carpets and stairs until 15:00. Dropped eldest daughter off at party at 15:30 before going to supermarket for weekly shop. 16:00 cleaned three bikes and tidied garage. 17:00 collected kids and cooked dinner. 19:00 bathed kids, just got them to bed. Just making start on this weeks accounts for business.
So much for days off. Looking forward to getting back to work for a rest.

Woke up on me own about 10 a.m., Wife and kids went to a party last night and stopped over, made meself a cuppa and a Weetabix brekkie.
More tea, wander around aimlessly for a while after checking emails, forums and ebay..
Stick some more tunes on my phone and dip into my flat listening to said tunes while polishing random bits of bike thinking Wife and kids would be home soon.

17:38, Wife gets home, chips out and gets the kids and her McD's while I carry on polishing random shit.
Just come back into the house, made a cuppa for me and her, posted a thread about my polishing this day . . .

7.30am - Youngest decided to give me a fathers day present of a lie in! He normally gets up at around 6am; result. Me and the wife get up and take Alfie downstairs for breckie and he gives me a card and some smellies.

8.15am - Eldest son up and another card and shower gel.

8.50am - Daughter up and card. Pressie to follow....

10am - Into town to get my wifes little sister some footie boots. Me and the boys check out the trainers and buy Alfie some sandles. Cool ones

12pm - Home and Alfie down for a nap.

1pm - Lunch all round. Check out BTCC on ITV4.

2.30pm - Off to mother in laws to lay a ridiculous amount of paving slabs.......but she cooked up a wicked dinner and allows me to watch the end of the BTCC.

6.30pm - Home, chill with Alfie and get him into bed by 7pm.

7.30pm - Jade gives me my pressie which is a load of family pics in a frame. Sweet

8pm - Iron a shirt for work. Kick back with a cuppa. Forum time.

No bike action, but I have a mid week ride planned with a modern mate for next week.

Woke up, spent some time with the little'un and missus, ate some chocolate in bed, got up and had some porridge, went out for a 10mile ride on a new trail, had a picnic with the missus and little'un.

Came home, had a beer in the back garden, rebuilt an Alpinestars , packaged up a set of car wheels I sold on ebay (for shipping tomorrow) grabbed the saw and cut up a load of wood, now sat in the back garden with more beer, burning said wood choppings.

I done a lap of the red route with some black bit's down at Glentress till tea time. Man it was busy.

Went for a wee spot of fishing after tea and caught nowt :roll:

Today was a good day.

I got a card, which was quite surprising as my boy is only 6 days old!

I had a quick spin on the Combat Kona and went to view an Explosif which then sold for silly money on eBay. :roll:

Sat in bed reading a book with the lad dozing next to me and then the wife comes, picks him up and says he's wet - nappy by-pass into the mattress. Woo! Fatherhood!
