What campag groupset are these from

Old School Hero
Having trouble identifying these brakes - the black levered ergos seem to have been used on the lower campag groupsets although I have seen a few record one's with this type of black lever on velobase. Any help would be welcome. Plan is to mount them on a bike which is mainly record so trying to remain consistent.

Any advice on the generation of ergos to go for as well would be welcome - I've heard some of the earlier ones are a bit shoddy.

Thanks

David

those look like painted finish, so a lower end group, definitely not record. Avanti I think, mid 90's-ish. A quick look at the catalogues should clear it up

No groupset name, so they must be from 1992 - 1994.

No black shift levers in '92 and only Veloce had them in '93.

Athena, Veloce & Stratos had them in '94, but Athena had polished brake levers.

Sub-Athena Ergo from the C-Record era had plastic bodies (as opposed to aluminium) and the levers turned on bushes (rather than bearings).

I'm pretty sure Ergo shifters came long after C-Record. You realise C-Record was 7sp, right?
