what bar ends had the quil type attachment?

Looking for some for a friend, but would like to know what was around to look at different styles

I remember I had Onza quill bar ends back in the early 90s. They weighed a ton.

I remember those well. I bought a set (may still have them somewhere!).

I also remember thinking I would go for those versions as it would mean I could just fit and go. Save time over moving grips, shifters, etc. (I was busy at the time or something ). The fitting piece was so wide though I ended up having to cut my bars down so it was more work rather than less in the end!!!!

that design was mainly to protect the delicate ends of the hyperlite bar

Yeah bit silly though, you get a Hyperlite bar then stick clunking quill bar ends on it...
