Found this bike on craigslist last night and spotted the marzocchi xc500 forks and the tange infinity sticker and figured for $25 the forks alone would be worth it. So I took a little drive and picked it up
Now the question is what to do? do i strip what parts are good and toss the frame or go in for a resto. The frame material seems high quality but everything else but the fork seems lower end. After I cleaned things up a bit I found the plus sides to the bike, hubs shimano exage, rims are araya rx-7s, rear Der. Shimano lx, head set shimano stx, shifters/ brakes shimano stx, stem velocity, handle bar/ bar ends zoom double butted aluminum. The cranks and everything else seems pretty low end.
Ps. Judging from the date stamp on the fork the bike seems to be a 1994 raleigh Serengeti. I can't find any more Info on it.
