Weird Paypal goings on.

Not what you want when you come back off a ride. Loads of emails stating "you've got funds" and "you've made a payment" especially when I haven't authorized any of the buggers!

4 payments putting $48 / $49 into my account from one person, 1 payment of $49 going in from another person and 6 payments going out of £19.99 to "steam games" whatever that is?

Rang PP who are investigating...

Anyone ever heard of money going in your account? Do they expect you to send it back? Is that where the scam lies? As for the payments going out to steam games I don't know how they did it? God I'm livid!

Update AV every day and scanned for viruses only 2 days ago, doing another scan right now but I don't think it'll turn anything up. Also just changed my password in PP (for what it's worth...)

Any advice appreciated.

Yeah, changed email and PP passwords. Funny thing is I brought it to PP's attention and now they're requesting info via their incredibly slow website and one of the options for me to respond has disappeared! 3 calls later and the payments in have been stopped, the payments out are still showing me in negative though! Took me 45 minutes just to get info in to reply to the questions they're asking... :evil:
