Was the Kona King Kahuna Ti frame produced in 2008?

Some people said they had seen a frame for sale but that it was probably a prototype. There were stories of legal or contractual issues that meant the frames never left Russia, but if that was the case it seems odd that they've never ended up on eBay. Maybe they're still locked in a container in some dockyard somewhere, or maybe they never got built.
You can still buy a modern titanium Kona though, it's just that nowadays they're called Voodoos.

I see, in reality, even if a few made it to the store shelves, it was at best exteremely limited release!
Ye fully aware of Voodoo, in fact nearly bought a steel frame back in the mid 90's (got the Kilauea instead). Are Halfords the only ones selling Voodoo on these shores?
