Hi Guys,
I have recently bought a 1950's Higgins Ultralight and I am looking for :
1 x 40 hole 27 " rim for my rear Harden hub
1 x 32 hole 27 " rim for the front Bacon slicer harden hub.
The front 32 hole is more important as it has a nasty 1970's steel rim at the moment. The rear has a Alumlite KP rim I think so a matching front would be ideal.
Ideally clinchers as well please
At some stage I will be in the market for a Chater lea crankset as well.
This machine has some real quality parts fitted ( Hiduminium GB Brakes, stem/Bars ,seat post, Bayliss Wiley Cartridge style bottom bracket etc )but as usual there are a couple of components that have been added later that really let it down, so I am keen to restore and rebuild back to the best of British.
Any period rims considered.
Thanks
Best regards Barry
