WANTED: Small frame or bike: SORTED THANKS!

Looking for a small 26" frame or bike for an 11 year old.
It's for a friend's kid with Asperger's - he's mad keen on building stuff and engineering, so a sack of bits would do fine!

No big brand preferences - just serviceable stuff.

I have a very good condition 15" 2007 Viper sick boy disc or V, very low standover, I could do you a deal on the frame + seatpost, headset and seat clamp, how about £35 + postage
could manage wheels and brakes as well if wanted

How heavy is the frame? It's a dirt jump frame isn't it... :?
What fork length was original...? Standard 1 1/8" headset or one of those new-fangled ones?

I'm looking for something that's usable for transport, not just a toy for tooling around in.

Had a 120mm fork on it and it's headset is a 1 1/8" normal but integrated.

Yes it's a jumper but I used it for cycling around on in Spain, since new it's lived in spain from 2007-2010 and was used about 3 times and then since then it's done one lap of the monkey for which it was fine. so very low millage.

How about a nice c.1996/7 Gary Fisher Wahoo in tiny 13" c-c size? I built it up for a friend of mine a couple of years back, she's just p/x'ed it back to me so she can buy something nicer off me (a £400 Trek to be exact).

It's got a rigid cr-mo f&f with threaded 1 1/8" headset and 21 speed Altus/Acera STI. Been a super and tough little bike, and I've just given it a good clean & fettle with new (canti) brake pads and inner tubes.

In great working order now :mrgreen: and I'd be looking for about £115 + postage
