mine was standard english thread

ooh i love mavic parts ,except for the idea of milling the angled face on a pefectly good BB shell.

Love 979's and this is a very pretty one, Mavic stuff rocks had mostly ssc on my road bike

Very nice with all that Mavic kit on it.

Mine weighs just around 20lb with 700c wheels, Turbo saddle, Suntour/Shimano 600 drive train. It's possible to get them down much lighter with the right stuff.

Used my brand-new ex-Netto for £3 baggage scales on mine this afternoon!
