Vitus 979 with nice bits, should I sell or donor the parts

Bit of chat.
I have a tidy vitus with good stuff on it that doesn't have any joint problems. I was going to sell it to down size one bike. But, as you know the frames aren't loved that much. So, the frame would reduce the value of the parts if sold as is. I can't let it got for what I recon it might fetch £400 ish. If they fetched £700 ish I may sell but I can't see it.
Should I...................
1. Do nowt and ride it? seeing as it only weighs 7.25kg with pedals.
2. Tek all the stuff and buy a different frame?

If anyone has an interesting frame I may do action 2. 24.5"-62cm

Any thoughts???

Think you're about right at £400, struggling to see £700 though even if split and sold as individual parts. Cranks & rear mech could command a tidy fee, seatpost also. Personally i'd just ride it unless you're desperate for a new frame?

@Taul Paul. Damn. I thought it was only me who knew about the Ti bits in that stem. I have an SR extra super light stem in the garage but it needs a sibling lol

Really?
Is it the joint failure stories or just a general dislike of the bikes?

For aluminium frames, I think they're lovely and if not for absurd customs charges, I'd probably buy it
It would be a perfect companion for my 979 pursuit

I suppose it is general dislikes. I have no problem will Alu frames, I very nearly bought a modern Canyon alu bike. My problem is a little base on appreciation will be low to nil. Other than that it maybe itchy to change something.
All the bits would make a more desirable bike on something else.

Too big for me but in my opinion its a really lovely example and nicely specced.
I'm with Shaun regarding that stem and bars, they are beautiful.
