Vintage Specialised Stumpjumper

Retro Newbie
I have a very old specialised stumpjumper to sell and I would be grateful if someone could tell me what year it is, and what it could be worth.

Thanks...

I've attached some photos showing the components:

Welcome to Retrobike.

It looks like a 1989 model that's been repainted. It would have looked like this one once:

It's not worth a lot. In that condition with non-original paint and few of its original parts remaining, maybe £50.

It might be worth a bit more in parts, depending on condition. If the wheels are straight and not too worn they might find a buyer, especially if the hubs are Deore XT. Black wide-profile cantilever brakes tend to be popular. The cranks look to be in reasonable condition. Overall though, it's a fairly common bike that looks to have had a hard life.
