Yes. I have tried pushing it down all the way but that's as far as it will go. :x

In fact I would go as far as saying you should post it to me free of charge to take away the temptation to even try using it.

Looks like the taper on the frame runs to close to the top of the tube to allow for a wide clamp :-(

I got a nice Ti one of the bay surprisingly cheaply which is quite thin and actually very nicely made - can send you some links if interested
