Van Nicholas Euros Titanium 56cm Chester

@vtwinvince It was a fairly-popular maker (as popular as titanium gets) in its time, early 2000s on maybe and I think was noted for solid, well-built frames (cue everyone moaning about theirs breaking..). I don't know when they faded away, haven't seen any mention of new stuff from them, don't know if they got into all the 'new standards' of 1x, discs etc. Again, I don't know for certain but vaguely recall that they had something to do with the Airborne brand or another titanium maker. I'm sure someone will be along to give us the story.

Auction ended, reserve not met at £370. A good-looking bike, be worth it if it goes for not much more than that.

Airborne was the first incarnation of the brand which was renamed to Van Nicholas mid 00s. I had a Euros for a few years, great frame, bought it from Fatbirds in Norfolk (now absorbed into Pedal Revolution it seems) who were a big seller and importer I think. You might get a 28 in the rear but no wider.
