V-brake lead pipes

With the amount of Vs about ,you should be able to pick up a pair for next to nothing.
Ive never had that much crud entering the end of the noodle or ever found it affected shifting
Save your money and get a couple of normal ones

I figured there wouldn't be much difference.. but being a grade-A novice thought it best to ask ;)

That said, many here would disagree with me totally
Coated cables will give you about the best performance but if its because your V's arent returning properly then maybe a bit more tension on the springs, put it up a notch even :?

I set them up yesterday, thought about it, worked it out and they're fine (shock!!).. but I 'made do' with the noodles and the ferrules.. they are a bit tatty so I figured I'd replace them all..

I just use any, but make sure you get an angle that suits your bike - a 135 on the back of my RTS catches my heel, so needs a 90...

And a 135 works better on the front, IMO.

Most places recommend a 135 on the front and 90 on the back that I've seen... going to sort it in the week once I've found the ferrules that I want

Flexible brake noodles are a gift from the gods...
