Wow!

I just woke up to 10 PMs in my inbox! I'm in California, and it's just about 0900 in the morning, probably about 6 or 8 hours behind many of you. fact, I see that all of the current postings came in at least an hour after I had gone to bed last night.

Here's my dilemma: It was my intent that people post their interest (dibs) on this thread before PMing me so that it would be PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE that they were first in line, second in line, etc., and I see that some of you did, while others just PM'd me without posting here. If I was awake and monitoring the sale thread last night, I could have posted dibs on peoples' behalf as soon as I received their PMs, but I was fast asleep. The exact times that I received PMs is NOT public knowledge, so I think it would cause a lot of consternation if I started giving dibs to people based solely on PMs.

I think it's only fair to those that followed my instructions and posted their interest that they get dibs, even if someone PM'd before another guy posted. Unfortunately, I suspect that some of you will be put out by my decision, but in light of the circumstances (I was fast asleep while all of this was going on), I hope you all understand. I'm just trying to be fair to all.
