Whilst dilly-dallying on eBay recently I 'accidentally' picked up a brand new, never been built Raleigh Maverick frame because it was about £20 and small enough to build up for my girlfriend. I had intentions of just making a budget single-speed from it but now that it's here I realise I'm somewhat out of my comfort zone because I'm a road bike kinda guy and everything in my spares box is all inappropriate!
I'm told I need a USA BB - whatever that is! :?
Would anyone have one of those knocking around for cheap? Also, I'll need a crank to go with that so if anyone has both that would probably be even more helpful!
Just to stress, this will be a budget build so the cheaper the better. let me know if I've made any kind of rookie oversight regarding the specifics and I'll investigate and come back with any information that might be missing.
