I'm selling a few bits.
First, a pair of Shimano 7 speed bar-end shifters Ultegra SL-BS50* RH is indexed for 7 speed cassette; LH is friction for >3 ring front derailleur. They are excellent things - sure and strong. They're a bit scratched and scuffed from having been leant against walls, etc, but they look much better in real life than in the photos! SOLD
EDIT: *I found this here: http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx? ... d57b54b88a after finding the model number on the shifters, which I think confirms they are 7 speed-specific and probably won't work with 8 speed indexing (but I should think would work with friction)
2. A pair of Tektro MT2.1 brake levers - a bit scuffed but working perfectly. £5 posted.
3. Shimano Acera rear derailleur. Barely used; fitted in December I think but have swapped for a black Deore one I got off another bike because it suits my bike better (stealth!). 7- and 8-speed compatible. A bit grubby from road grime but works perfectly (I will clean more before sending!). £10 posted
4. Lastly, a Nitto Albatross handlebar. This is a really lovely bar: excellently made, strong and looks amazing. I finished it with cork grips, bar-end shifters (which it accepts, which many flat bars don't) and Tektro MTB brakes, a la Rivendell et al. The setup worked really well.
25.4mm clamp diameter; 23.8mm grip; accepts 22.2mm (city / MTB) brakes. It has a small amount of rise (60mm I think) so can be used as I had it set up, as a upright, city/Dutch-style bar, or inverted, as a lower, more Moustachey position. The bends offer alternative options too for a more aero position / for pulling up hills, so it's really flexible (metaphorically, not literally. That would be bad.)
It is in good condition. There are some tiny scratches on one bend of the bars, from where I came off once, but they are practically invisible. There's a small amount of glue residue from where I removed the grips.
