Unfinished proj. modern hack, s/s *SOLD*

Old School Hero
Was going to put a hack/singlespeeder together with some bits I've accumulated. Don't know what I was thinking - haven't even got room for my 1 bike in my flat! So, it has to go. I want to sell it as is if at all possible and would probably rather take the price down a few times than send it. However, I may consider sending it if no one can p/u after a week or so. Likewise with splitting. By all means indicate interest in items, but I'll leave it a while and guess I will have to put prices down for the parts if/when I decide to do that.

Frame: was told it was a Merlin Cycles frame but have no idea (serial A0E62339), aluminium, open gussett on down tube, square profile stays, DISC ONLY, a few superficial marks/cablerub/chainslap/chainsuck but no dings.

Post: USE SX shockpost 26.8, bought s/h and never used by me but seems fine and in GC. Will also include spare Kalin post - grubby but useable. Will throw in clamp (non QR) and seat I had knocking around).

Cranks: Shimano XT M752 175mm in VGC. BRAND NEW Octalink BB just fitted, currently only has middle ring (32) as I was thinking of building it as a single speed or 1 x 9. Includes granny (22) and big rings (44) but NO EXTRA BOLTS. All rings are used but have some life.

Forks: Marzocchi MX Comp Air '04. Bought S/H and never used buy me but in VGC, look hardly used. Think they are 85mm travel.

Headset: Cane Creek S2

Stem: Titec, 0 rise and about 100mm

Bars: flat Easton EA70, used, graphics a bit chipped and bar slightly crushed at one end but no prob when grips fitted (Specialized lock-ons).

Brakes: single front Avid BB7 with Avid Speed Dial 5 lever (will include LH lever). Caliper & pads as new, new cable. INCLUDES 160mm Avid Roundagon rotor - not pictured.

Will include XT rear mech. Fairly battered and needs a clean up but works fine.

Only needs pedals, wheelset and s/s rear ring to get going as a singlespeeder!

Will start her at 115 GBP collected (Croydon area).
