undecided on LX or Middleburns cranks?

Don't knock LX cranks....I had a set on my Saracen in 1991, that bike got thrashed to within an inch of its life and did me for thousands and thousands of miles, often carrying heavy loads. They then got switched to my Pace and were used on that for another 10 years.....theyre are still going strong now, only thing wrong is most of the black ano is worn off cos I use clips/straps still.

Cheers to chaps who respond to my topic, I made my mind up, it's Shimano LX going on the bike, just spend 2 hours this afternoon after work cleaning and polishing the crank arms ready for the build, going to keep the retro look on it.
