Hi,

I have a 92 Orange, which is currently my bad weather commuting bike.
I have decided that it really needs to go off-road again.
What tyres do you suggest that are suitable and more importantly obtainable?

Cheers,

Roger

I run panaracer fire xc blackwalls on my clockwork and they are good IMHO, I think you can even get them in skinwall but don't know where.

That was an E-bay seller selling those Fire skinwalls, from what i gather they are sadly not available any more.

The Fire XC is still available though, guess there must not be a big enough market for them to produce the skinwall version

From a performance point of view those should do ya. ;) I had one up front on the peaks trip and stayed on the bike this time... :?

Since I purchased old amberwalls which look great on owt really old.

Thanks for your help,

I have just ordered a pair of Panaracer Fire from All Terrain Cycles on special offer and available in folding and amberwall.
