We have a pile of carrots and parsnips ready to make soup. The dogs won't stop mithering to get hold of some.

They are usually great about not begging for food, but that pile is not normally there and they have done a lot of exercise today.

Is there anything your dog loves above all else?

Mine are not bothered about most 'human food' but I use carrots and parnsips as their behaviour treats so this one is on me.

Tomatoes, he'll steal them from the fridge when you turn your back. He'll happy eat a whole bowl of salad, oh and cardboard!

One of ours has that 'shiny' obsession, where she will lick the windows in the car if she can.

Can lead to a nasty build up of scum, but they are caged most of the time.

I used to have a parrot that tore the wallpaper off, and he used to shout out, "No, Rocky, bad!" before he did it! We trained it out of him with blasts from a water spray.
