Trek Y Superlite

Retro Newbie
Afternoon all,

I'm considering selling my Y Superlite 300, and thought I'd post here to get a sense of value. It's a lovely thing, but I got into framebuilding lately and typically ride my own frames these days, so this hasn't seen any actual mud in a fair old while. I could do with the space for my next frame project :)

Anyway - it's in good, rather than immaculate condition as you'll see from the photos. Relatively shiny build - Rolf Propel wheels, Thompson post, Manitou Skareb forks, Icon carbon bars etc. Both the forks and rear shock work fine, but would benefit from a service - and similarly, one pair of rear shock bushings is in need of replacement. Otherwise it's all working like it should.

Appreciate any expert views. I know what it cost, but that was a while ago and I don't see a lot of Trek stuff on here :)

NEVER seen one of these before. I have seen Y-33's go for relatively strong money on Ebay (£400+) but they were pretty much perfect. Yours I would assume is rarer and has some nice kit on it but has been 'used' so hopefully you should get the same sort of money although, as has been noted recently the price for 'Retro' bikes appears to be softening....

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

It's currently set up on the turbo trainer where it's doing sterling service, I think I'll keep it there for sentimental value.
