I like that quote in the review he gives a link to:

The MTB was, and still is, quite a challenge, but it just doesn't have that pure focus that a long road ride has. Always something to do on the MTB, always calculating the next move, the next gear change, the next uphill or downhill, the crisis-of-the-moment. If the MTB is the bad boy of cycling, the road bike is the zen. Clear the mind of the usual clutter of worry and tension, strike that perfect pace, and just go.

Oh aye. Strike that perfect pace.

Ow. Fuggin pot hole.
Swerve around dodgy looking manhole.
Brake for the pedestrian who's stepped out.
Stop at traffic lights.
Struggle to get foot back in pedal as you set off.
Get cut up by car turning left.
More lights.
More pot holes.
More pedestrians.
I'll be glad to get bloody home

The Y-foil 77! 8)

I wanted one of these bitd but couldn't justify it. They only made them for a couple of years before the UCI banned monocoque frames.  Suddenly there were thousands of people around the world that had to buy new bikes because of this backwards thinking organisation.

Lucky for me this one's too big! :)
