Tech Question..................
I have a dura-ace 9spd groupset fitted to my 2011 Trek Madone 4.7 frame. 12,13,14,15,16,17,19,21,23 cassette. When in the wee ring (39/53T), The chain rubs on big ring from maybe the 15 downwards, meaning my octalink bb spindle maybe isn't long enough? Does anyone know if these are available in different lengths?

I think you maybe meant to post this in the Road bike section?

However, I have a similar issue with a Sram GXP bottom bracket :? I'm guessing the chainline is not quite right, although I've not actually bothered to check it yet:oops:

afaik you can get different length Octalink bottom brackets, as it's essentially like the traditional/retro square taper ones, just with the splined "octalink/isis" connection between axle and crank.

If you have some floating around then maybe try putting a couple of spacers between the small ring and crank spider, see if that gives you a bit of room to play with, otherwise I'd be measuring the chainline and finding a bottom bracket with the axle for optimum chainline.
