Hi.
Does anyone know where I can get the old style tan leather and crochet backed track mits. Seem to becoming a rare item unless you are paying mega money

Go to a cycle jumble there is always piles of them.

They are often on ebay too.

And in my city at least, they sell them in independent sports shops - not aimed at cyclist but for people to use as gym gloves (god knows why anyone would want to wear gloves in the gym).

Thanks for that. We dont get cycle jumbles up here in Yorkshire for some reason. I think the other sports suggestion is probably going to be the best.Have been tracking e bay for a while with no luck They are either boil in the bag types with little ventilation or multi coloured. All sugestions are much appreciated. Many thanks

Thanks for the info. These are very near where I want to be and to be honest If I cant find real leather then they will probably be what I end up with. Did find one thread though that suggested that they did not last too long. At the price though they are not a lot to replaice even if it is an annual event. Reason I want some is that we ride a tandem and with just over twenty stone on a forty pound weight bike there are hills around here where I have to stop to cool the hands down There are a couple of 1000ft ones . One over two miles and the other in just under a mile.Hanging on to that weight in descents this long tends to rough the hands up a bit.This is why I would prefer real leather. They are going to get some grief.Not looking for real cheapos but dromarti la grand at £99.00 aint going to happen. many thanks for all replies.Much appreciated
