Wanted Town bike / tourer (Cambridge)

I'm moving to Cambridge (from overseas) in 2 weeks. Need an everyday commuter/town bike, would prefer that to be something a bit retro/classic; steel frame, maybe internal hub gears, rack or mounts for one. Preferably not chrome rims (need some braking power in the wet!). I know there are stacks of bikes for sale in Cambridge, but it can be tricky to find the good bike/deal in the haystack of overpriced junk. Any leads or bikes on offer here would be appreciated!

Yes, so I’m looking for something old, basic, functional, not flashy or expensive but a bit satisfyingly old school.

I thought it was a fair price not really cheap. If you're collecting it from a house unlikely I'd have thought.
