Top jockey wheel Q...

I just bought a Dura Ace 7400 rear mech which had some aftermarket jockeywheels fitted...

There is zero lateral float on the top jockey wheel- this isnt right is it?

No, top jockey wheel has some side to side movement built in. I think it helps with shifting.

Yep thanks Dean- was just wondering if it might be this particular mech...but dont think so-

will do some jockey swopping shortly!

Most aftermarket jockey wheels don't have any float. You can get them to work as well, if not better than the floaty G pulley Shimano ones.
