Top hat ferrules for a Proflex

For some strange reason my 1997 Proflex Animal has hose guides on the down tube where the cable stops should be for the rear gear cable. The ideal solution would be to put a couple of tinymetal top hat shaped ferrules into the hose guides to convert them cable stops. Does anyone know where you get such things or whether the Lambretta scooter versions work on a MTB hose guides?

All '96 and '97 Proflexes came with hose guides. Those that didn't come with Maguras as standard used gold step-down ferrules. I have got a set if you're interested.
