You must have missed a sign, because you shouldn't be going through Ventnor / Sandown / Shanklin... :? - you definitely went the harder way.
Some of the signs can be a bit subtle...

You did a few extra miles - I recorded just over 66.

I went on the 0900 Yarmouth boat, which was very full.

Oh interesting. We're due to IOW avec bikes with outlaws in a few months, so good to now theres some missions to be had. Nice one with the training and adventures.
