I have copper grease but bought some of this for the Ti build :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT

It's silver rather than copper coloured so I can only persume its based on ally (or similar) rather than copper ?

Anyhow, I havent used it yet but as its made by park and recomended for Ti so I would hope its good stuff :D

I wouldn't use copper based greases on bikes TBH. You can end up with other corrosion issues.

Try a nickel based grease like NeverSeez Special (Blue Label), made by Bostik.

What kinds of issues?
Copper grease seems to be the only way to stop my eccentric BB creaking. Is it going to cause problems? (apart from instantly sticking to everything in sight and being nasty, messy gunk)

Been using copper grease for many years. No problems at all.

+1.

+2 - My cars and BV build are covered in it :D

My catering size tub is 2/3rds gone, thats a lot of protected threads  and sticky finger marks

I got the park stuff for the airborne (Ti) build and to keep in the bike tool kit (in the house) rather than the car tool kit (in the garage)

Depends on the environment its used in, bikes and cars are probably fine, but as I don't use it in my industry I just tend to stick with what I know at work, which admittedly is underwater kit. The same conditions can happen on surface, but it just takes a lot longer. If the bike it cleaned then it should always be fine.

Copper can cause a reaction which causes the surrounding material to corrode sacrificially thus protecting the grease.

The circumstances for this to happen isn't too likely under nomal conditions, but I don't take the chance personally as under harsh conditions I've seen the damage copper greases can cause.

I'm knackered, so that probably makes no sence.
