Tip find today

Today i found a Peugeot Lynx at the tip, its not in bad condition, got 15 gears with thumb shifters, canti brakes 24" wheels and nice heavy frame LOL

Getting 2 new tyres tomorrow from wilkos then just need longer seat post and a good clean. Got a Giant Boulder Aluxx FS 2 on monday aswell that needs more work than this that was also free LOL

If anybody has any info on the Peugeot Lynx that would be a great help

today's find.

Not exactly a tip find to the calibre of f1fan111's...... ( LOL ) but I've been working out in Germany the last few days and returned to find a greasy old carrier bag on my desk.

....inside was a virtually complete M735 XT groupset!!! : :shock:
Thumbies, brake levers, front and rear derailleurs, a newer set of V - brakes, a Deore LX chainset and a really long ( 450mm + ) seatpost of unknown origin but doesn't look like a cheapie.

You don't get a better hump day than that!

The only info I have is that my brother had one and it cracked, then he got another one and it cracked

Its ok gather not that strong LOL oh well, spent £10 in wilkos this morning and my gf cleaned up the front wheel and i did a quick job on the rear and now have this

The magic of tin foil and water LOL


Just gotta sort out the seat post and adjust the brakes.

Looks like steel rims - heavy and zero braking in the wet.

I'm sorry to poop the party but the bike looks a bit of a gaspipe horror to me.
