Time for a Bob overhaul

Poor Mr Jackson has been languishing in the loft, so I think it’s time for a update... will drag the frame down this weekend but a rummage in the parts bin was rewarding. And time for a Triple!

Re:

Well, made a start.
Need a few bits and pieces!
Anyone have a pair of black metal bottle cages, pair of barrel adjusters, three Campag cable clips, a saddle, four bolt boss nuts (is that what they’re called?)...

Isn't that an unusual frame - it has two sets of bottle bosses, but no shifter bosses and no brake cable guides? Why is that?

Really weird. Bob’s records were it was made to order like that for a Mr John Edwards in 2001 (maybe he’s on here?) and to that spec. Maybe he had a thing about cable clips (or a thing against internal routing :) phnar

Extended head tube unusual & makeS a frame look ugly IMO but each to there own...

Bob The Bitza is falling together. It’s... it’s, hmm, interesting.

Re:

Shakedown ride. Bob The Bitza / Odd Bob is actually the most comfy bike I’ve got. The weird geometry of the head tube works so well for me and I thought the frame would be a bit too big, but no. Wish I got this out of the loft sooner and it really deserves a matching groupset (rather than the modolomavicmiragechoruscentuarcomp ‘special mix’. Better start saving suppose.
